Mary Margaret (MM) joined Hiscox in 2021 and was appointed Head of Underwriting Partnerships, in 2026. She is responsible for the quota share strategy, which includes Syndicate 6104 and our sidecar offering, as well as all external communication with our underwriting partners.  She brings over twenty years’ experience in the global reinsurance industry, spanning underwriting, structuring and capital solutions.

Prior to joining Hiscox Re, MM was Vice President, Structured Risk & Capital Solutions at Guy Carpenter in London, focusing on Funds at Lloyd’s investment strategies. Earlier in her career, she was on the treaty broking side at Guy Carpenter in New York and served as an underwriter in Chubb’s Executive Protection Division. MM has a B.A. in International Studies with a minor in Economics from Hamilton College and holds designations as an Associate of Reinsurance and an Associate in Insurance Services.
