Jonas joined Hiscox in 2011 and was appointed Head of Investments of Hiscox Capital Partners in 2025. He is responsible for overseeing the design, construction and ongoing management of the ILS portfolios, including portfolio strategy, risk selection and investment performance. 

Since joining the business, Jonas has held various roles across Hiscox Re. Having worked in both the London and Bermuda analytics teams focussing on catastrophe modelling, peril model research, and accumulation management he then moved over to the ILS Investments team as an Analyst and subsequently Portfolio Manager. Jonas holds an MA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, London.
